Komatiland Forests was registered as a full subsidiary of SAFCOL in mid 2002 and that was when all the SAFCOL hiking trails in the 'old Transvaal' were transferred to Komatiland's Eco-Tourism division.
Commercial forestry is KLF's core business – currently we control an area of more than 210 000ha of which 129 000ha has been afforested – but KLF is also committed to the concept of eco-tourism. KLF’s eco-tourism division has a huge impact on the development and management of:
